Shoutout to Samir, this man is the backbone of Loud Speakers Network. We would sound like trash without him.
— Jonathan Mena: Producer of the Combat Jack Show & Tax Season

Since his arrival from Maryland in 2012, engineer/producer Samir Karam has taken New York City by storm. The University Park native has had his hand in a wide variety of respected projects, most notably the ever-growing podcast community with shows regularly featured on iTunes Top 10, CNN, the New York Post, reaching over 50 million listens to date. As Head Engineer for Loud Speakers Network, with over 500 episodes recorded, Karam’s client list is not to be overlooked. With names including Russell Simmons, J Cole, Uncle Luke, and Spike Lee, the list holds a weight all on its own. Podcasts include Kid Fury x Crissle’s The Read (rated #1 on iTunes 2013-2015), Reggie Osse’s Combat Jack Show (featured on NYPost, CNN, 2DopeBoyz), Taxstone’s Tax Season, Ice T’s Final Level Podcast, Rob Markman’s Red Light Special, Friend Zone, Fan Bros, and Just Sayin’.

In addition to commanding the podcasting network, Karam also holds several decorations for his tracking and mixing skills. As engineer-in-chief for indie-pop group Prinze George for a number of years, Karam’s adeptness for sound has earned the band a spot on the soundtrack for Warner Bros. Pictures’ 2015 film Honig im Kopf, as well as earning the Number 1 listing on Hype Machine and a world premiere on The FADER Magazine. Karam has also worked in the studio with artists like A$AP Ferg, recording artist and producer Ryan Leslie, and upcoming Minneapolis-based Singer Lady Midnight. Since opening up Blendworks Studios in Brooklyn in 2017, Samir continues to work closely with a diverse group of artists to help create quality audio recordings ranging from hiphop, pop, and voiceover content.
